CURRENT PROGRAMS

OBJECTIVE

The Main Objective of the program is to Motivate and reward meritorious students and those Teachers who play pivotal role in helping the students in High School (Class 9 & 10) realize their full potential. The scholarship program offers the students the chance to earn financial reward, which is an excellent source of motivation.


Beneficiaries

The foundation targets the students from economically backward schools. As such, the below mentioned government run school located in Andhra Pradesh will be the first beneficiary of the program. Majority of the students studying in this school come from underprivileged families and the children are not expected to excel in studies because of lack of interest, failure in examination or economic condition. The program also aims to motivate the students to be competitive and capable of pursuing higher education.

Note: The number of beneficiaries shall be increased gradually through inclusion of more schools in the future.

Number of Scholarships for Students (Every Year)

  • 1. Prize Money of INR 25,000: School First rank in SSC Board Exam
  • 2. Prize Money of INR 20,000: School 2nd rank in SSC Board Exam
  • 3. Prize Money of INR 20,000: School First Rank in 9th Class Annual Exam
  • 4. Prize Money of INR 15,000: School 2nd Rank in 9th Class Annual Exam

Selection Criteria – Student Scholars

The following factors will be taken into consideration for selecting the scholars:

  • 1. Recommendation from the School Head Master
  • 2. Marks Scored in Board/Annual Exams (Carries a weightage of 75% of the selection process)
  • 3. Merit of the Candidate in terms of Performance in Extra Curricular Activities such as Regional/State/National Level Sports/Competition (Carries a weightage of 15% of the Selection process)
  • 4. Consideration of the Candidate’s Economic Standard (Carries a weightage of 10% of the selection process)

Application Process

Applications will be collected from the school by a representative of the Foundation during the month of June.

  • 1. Recommendation from the School
  • 2. Photo of the applicant
  • 3. Certificate of previous academic mark sheet
  • 4. Income certificate of the family
  • 5. Bank account details

Award Function

The Winners will be announced and handed with Printed Certificate of Award at the Independence Day Function held every year at the School premises.
